Selection guide
Match the probe to the chemistry.
Chemical-resistant temperature probes support applications such as wafer cleaning, plating and process baths when the sensing element, protective material and installation are compatible.
| Element | Published range | Selection detail |
|---|---|---|
| Pt100 / JPt100 | −85 to 302 °F −65 to 150 °C | Class B, 3-wire |
| Type K / Type J thermocouple | −40 to 302 °F −40 to 150 °C | Class 2; match input type |
| Thermistor | −22 to 212 °F −30 to 100 °C | Specify resistance curve |
Confirm chemical identity, concentration, temperature, immersion length and FEP/PFA construction. Each element has its own range; the widest range does not apply to every TE model.
